Patient Testimonials |

“I began the Weigh to Go program almost a year ago and it has changed my life immensely. When I started the program I was in the worst health I have ever been in. I was over 300 pounds, I couldn't keep up with my children, nor did I want to. In the beginning I didn't really think this program would work, but as the weeks turned into months and the weight began coming off, I started believing that maybe it could. Now, my current fitness is excellent! I've lost more than 100 pounds in 12 months, and have gone from getting winded just walking in the park, to running an 8K race. I believe that with the continued support from the MIHE staff I will reach my goal of lifelong health and fitness.“
K.U., Trenton
“I've lost 24 pounds and I'm down two pants sizes. I'm walking three to four times a week. There's more discipline in how my family eats now ... we look at this as an investment in our lives and our health. My overall health has improved greatly and I feel fabulous ... I feel good about me.“
M.K., Rochester
“The staff has taught me how to put the rules of healthy eating into proper focus for daily usage. They've worked with my cholesterol numbers. They've encouraged me when my weight went up and when it stayed the same for a few weeks. Weigh to Go has been an excellent program for me, and the MIHE staff has made losing weight over the age of 50 seem painless.“ A.W., Detroit
“I feel a whole lot better, that's the main thing. The most dramatic change is feeling better and having the arthritis diminish. I was having a lot of problems with my knees, with arthritis, and that dissipated after losing 50 pounds. I've also lost six inches on my waist and have had to buy all new pants. The staff also gives me options and alternatives to go with in terms of both nutrition and exercise. I really appreciate the variety of resources that MIHE has to offer its patients.“
